Overview:


This role will focus on building compelling partnerships with the primary goal of driving brand awareness. The person needs to be a creative thinker who will develop unique partnerships and collaborations with exciting brands in order to bring new and unexpected products and services to our customers. They need to be organized and detailed oriented to implement a launch strategy across all owned and earned channels. This is an opportunity to engage with partners from various industries, create meaningful and long-term relationships and contribute creatively to the brands larger goals.


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Identify, secure and maintain partnerships that reinforce the brand’s identity and garner significant press and social coverage to drive sales and customer acquisition.
  • Develop creative and effective partnership opportunities with likeminded brands; designers, artists, tech companies, non-profits, wholesale accounts, influencers, celebrities, etc.
  • Lead the end-to-end partnership development process by negotiating contracts, coordinating rollout strategy and tracking performance.
  • Maintain existing long-term partnerships, build new partnerships that are an extension of the brand’s key focuses and can be sustained over a long period of time.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partners, communicate strategy and rollout plan to them.
  • Facilitate content creation as it relates to partnerships.
  • Develop and manage events that amplify brand partnerships.
  • Analyze partnership results to determine success and the future of the relationship.
  • Work cross-functionally with design, merchandising, marketing, legal and PR agencies to develop a launch strategy for partnerships.
  • Constantly explore new opportunities, looking for unexpected but compatible partners that reinforce the brand identity and position the brand as a leader in the retail space.


    Required Skills

    Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of brand marketing, partnership management or PR experience, Bachelor's degree
  • Self-starter who can independently lead both strategy and execution, get internal buy-ins, and communicate effectively
  • Organized, detail oriented, friendly, patient, resourceful, pro-active
  • A creative, “out-of-the-box” thinker
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high energy environment
  • Big picture thinker, with an attitude that "no task is too small"
  • Eager to learn and take on new and varied responsibilities
