The Sponsorship & Events Planner is responsible for the logistical oversight, coordination and execution of sponsorship events in all markets. This will encompass both external and internal events.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Meeting planning, public relations and event marketing experience preferred.
Ability to assist with execution of a creative strategy around an event, and successfully collaborate with creative services staff.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written communication, including the ability to conduct clear, concise and compelling presentations.
Incredible organization, excellent negotiating skills, strong logistical management and great client service.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage workload independently.
Demonstrated project management skills.
General computer skills (including use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet search). Familiarity with health care documentation systems.
Ability to effectively convene internal teams to collaboratively execute assigned projects by drawing on the appropriate organizational resources available.
Ability to negotiate and resolve project and team issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness.
Additional Minimum Requirements for level II:
Proven ability to manage internal and external experiences on schedule and on budget.
General business acumen, including understanding of market dynamics, financial/budget management, data analysis and decision making.
Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed above:
Sponsorship & Event Planner Associate would have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and 5 years of experience in a creative/support position that required project management and/or events execution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sponsorship & Event Planner would have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and 7 years of experience in strategic event planning and project management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
