Jaunt is looking for a Director of Partnerships to manage and expand our relationships with sport-focused media companies, leagues and related companies. This entails they take advantage of our "best of breed" content production and distribution capabilities to expand into the immersive content and distribution category.
The role will work across all facets of Jaunt, including our studio, marketing, product, and technology teams to bring the best of Jaunt to each partner. The ideal candidate will have experience in media and/or technology and the ability and passion for building strong working relationships with media partners and internal stakeholders.
What You Will Own:
Identify and work with key content publishers IP rights holders to maximize Jaunt’s business objectives. Key accounts are among the premiere sports content creators in the world, including teams, venues and talent management
Effectively partner with Studio, Product, Tech, and Marketing teams to develop program solutions that create, expand and deepen these relationships
Ability to represent Jaunt’s production and technology capabilities
Build alliances and business relationships with each client working across each media’s organization
Negotiate commercial terms and manage implementation of the relationship
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
Ideal candidate will be 6-8 years post college or post-MBA
Business development experience in media and/or technology strongly preferred
Experience in investment banking or consulting preferred
Superb people skills and communication skills with a focus on fostering client relationships
Highly proactive and organized self-starter, results-driven, and detail-oriented.
Can be an excellent team player, motivating others and encouraging diverse perspectives
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Comfortable working with Excel and Powerpoint
Well organized, has highly developed account management. skills. Can effectively support the VP of Partnerships with prospective and existing clients.
Ability to manage leads, coordinate with internal stakeholders, meeting preparations, and follow up.
Willingness and ability to travel.
