Overview


We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Brand Marketing team. As the Head of Experiential Marketing, you will own, develop, and execute goPuff’s go-to-market strategy, in support of new market launches and campus tour initiatives, with both national and local brand partnerships & customer acquisition top of mind.


The ideal candidate for this position thinks outside the box, is not afraid to hussle, is detail oriented, data driven, and will drive results to raise awareness for goPuff and activate new customers.

Responsibilities


  • Deeply research local markets, including demographic, psychographic, geographic, business / competitive / partner landscapes, opinion leaders, etc.
  • Own, develop, direct, and execute the go-to-market strategies, tactics and plans related to new market launches and campus tours.
  • This includes brand-building, business development and user acquisition.
  • Run point on marketing initiatives to represent goPuff in the market:
  • Identify and pitch high-value local marketing, advertising, sponsorship and partnership opportunities
  • Cultivate relationships with key local opinion leaders and influencers
  • Oversee successful execution of all local events and grassroots marketing/partnership efforts, including management of local staffing and participation
  • Own local strategy and execution across channels: mass media advertising, CRM / email, direct mail and site-based messaging (flyers, posters, doorknockers, etc.), guerrilla marketing tactics
  • Collaborate with public relations agencies to raise awareness and enhance the reputation of goPuff in-market
  • Collaborate with performance marketing team members on localized digital marketing strategy & execution
  • Collaborate with brand marketing and social media team members to leverage influencer marketing and organic social marketing
  • Support the planning and rollout of new market launches
  • Provide key input in the evaluation and selection of new target markets
  • Manage the timeline and project plan for new market launches
  • Work cross-functionally to align local staff members and rally our teams to win in each and every one of our markets
  • As required, travel to and spend time in our markets

    Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college/university 5+ years of overall professional experience in both national and local brand marketing & events
  • Proven ability to partner with sales, business development, operations, and marketing teams to drive results
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects with strong stakeholders and influencers, while balancing multiple business objectives
  • Proven ability to manage third-party vendors
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to sell and convince
  • Ability to fully and truly take ownership of a role / function, and hold oneself accountable for results
  • Fluent in marketing, promotions, and PR concepts and practices
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Recognized ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
