You will be responsible for strategy, execution and development of centralized experiential, technology and participation for events & hospitality across all Enterprise- wide corporate, sports & entertainment sponsorships. You will provide leadership and cross business knowledge to ensure event governance and standards are being adhered to and executed on properly.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Activation & Live Events while interacting with Sales Directors, Marketing Managers, PR, Social and other Leadership to help prepare the company for industry & other events, communicating plans, timelines, while offering new outlooks and ideas, Identifying and evaluating opportunities consistent with business objectives.
This hybrid role (strategic and tactical) is also responsible for being a critical member of the centralized National sponsorship team that acts as the voice and driving force of Verizon experiential, articulating the brand through our Sports and Entertainment Sponsorships.
Corporate/Industry Events
Provide complex, cross functional project management, including timeline creation, ensuring all major deadlines are adhered to
Manage internal and external communications to key stakeholders, staff, and attendees
Work cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging/branding across LOB’s
Coordinate all logistics, including hotel room blocks, attendee lists, transportation, registration, etc.
Create copy for event-related materials, such as brochures, websites, and email content
Maintains internal websites and creates relevant content
Brand Articulation through Suites & Ticketing experiences:
Holistically track and review suite and ticketing opportunities along with experiential assets in conjunction with business needs, national strategic initiatives, and provide recommendation on usage
Ensure venue design and brand messaging is up to date and reflective of current ATL media
Design ticketing invites and collateral
Track and report on budget by Market/LOB, and manage effectively
Brand management of good/services related to hospitality, creating a consistent suite experience in venues
National Suite Operations
Manages Stadium Operations and Internal Business Leads
Track and order suite inventory, food & beverage within suites
Meet week to week catering deadlines for all Stadiums/Venues and communicate to Cross LOB internal stakeholders
Ensure brand and legal guidelines are being adhered to in all venues (47 venues across United States)
Communicate to onsite business leads, correct suite guidelines and hosting duties
Week to week tracking of payment and invoicing
Premium & Merchandising
Development of staff apparel and brand compliant merchandise for suites, Nationwide
Execute on feedback from sales leadership and market leads
Work with Brand Team to ensure all items are approved within Brand guidelines
Ticket Management/Governance
Monitor, enforce, and uphold ticketing policies while working with Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance and OEBC
Adherence to and communication of ongoing ticketing policy updates
Work with HR on employee usage and taxation
Maximize usage across sponsorships exploring/identifying company opportunities

General Support
Manage all internal and external event communications for Consumer Activation and Live Events
Coordination of efforts pertaining to execution and communication of programs
Knowledge share of activities, priorities, and areas pertaining to execution of product programs
Develop, coordinate and manage internal communications
Work in conjunction with Event Teams within HQ, VES, Wireless, CMB, Product, External Affairs and Partners/OEMs where necessary
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Master’s degree – more impressive if you have an MBA.
5 or more years of event/event management experience.
Willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and tackle the task.
Ability to be nimble, hit deadlines, and bring enthusiasm.
