Based out of our Corporate headquarters in Mahwah, NJ, the Jaguar Land Rover Experience Marketing team is an integral part of the JLR Marketing group, with key responsibility for creating and executing the strategy for Jaguar Brand Experiences, Sponsorships, Partnerships, Global Events and Exhibitions. As part of the Experiential team, the Experiential Specialist will report directly to the Manager, Auto Show and Lifestyle Marketing.


The role of this position is to broaden Jaguar and Land Rover’s product and brand awareness through branded experiences, drive retailer traffic through qualified leads and source and identify highly qualified prospects with purchase intent. The Specialist is responsible for actively searching, strategically developing and analyzing potential brand appropriate like-minded opportunities. In addition, they will work closely with agency partners to plan, create and execute experiential events, including Concours, launch events, partnership activations and retailer launch meetings and providing post budget and metrics reporting.


Main Responsibilities


Development and Implementation:

  • Responsible for three key marketing areas; Experiential Marketing Events and Sponsorships with brand appropriate like-minded companies;
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities developing the strategy, planning and implementation Jaguar and /or Land Rover consumer experiences;
  • Develop budgeting, including estimate approval, PO creation, maintenance and reconciliation at the conclusion of the program;
  • Plan and manage resources including fleet and property assets with internal and agencies partners across multiple channels;
  • Responsible for activating and managing various agency partners and third party vendors including staff;
  • Responsible for maintaining highest level of brand execution and consistency with overall brand message and strategic direction;
  • Develop team spirit and positive staff engagement;
  • Liaison with the JLR regional and local field marketing team. Assist field marketing team with identifying, reviewing and executing regional event opportunities; and
  • Perform other duties as required


    Required Skills

    Key Criteria for Role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related discipline;
  • 5 years of Experiential Marketing experience;
  • Experience with Corporate event planning a must;
  • Strategy development, planning and activation skills;
  • Previous work experience with budgets and budget management;
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills;
  • Automotive and/or luxury product background;
  • Retailer contract experience;
  • Strong management and communication skills;
  • Corporate culture and managing inter departmental relations;
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills are required;
  • Business acumen and leadership credibility;
  • Energetic, self-motivated and driven for results; and
  • Ability to travel as required (approximately 50%+).
