Job Summary


Apple is seeking a senior event leader to join our consumer marketing team. You will lead a growing team that crafts and produces consumer activations, red carpet premieres, live events and hospitality for Apple services including Apple Music, iTunes Video & TV App, and Apple News. You will be responsible for activations from concept through execution, and required to maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners, as well as ensuring that the business unit’s goals and objectives are being met.


The ideal candidate has broad event experience and has handled events for film, TV or entertainment brands. Along with your mentorship and vision, your track record of leading and producing best-in-class events that connect brands and customers will encourage others, while ensuring everyone else is doing their best work. You have a love for all types of media including music, television and film; and you also have a real passion for entertainment and pop culture. As a passionate storyteller, you thrive in a quick moving environment, and make an excellent teammate.



Required Skills

Key Qualifications


  • You have a minimum or 15 years of event and experiential marketing experience, including at least 5 years leading a team.
  • Proven ability to build and lead teams in fast-growing environments.
  • Experience handling consumer activations and red carpet premieres for film, TV or entertainment brands, including digital and mobile extensions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, while still working under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and team oriented approach.
  • You are able to manage our multiple projects at a time.
  • High level of energy, passion, leadership and commitment.
  • Your creativity and vision brings concepts to reality.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.


    Description


  • Responsible for delivering exclusive events from concept through execution.
  • Lead and mentor an experienced team of event professionals.
  • Collaborate across internal teams, including Marketing, Design, Content/Programming and Publicity to build events that drive meet the stated objective.
  • Communicate with filmmakers, talent representatives, agencies, and production partners on efforts as needed.
  • Responsible for the production plans for each event, including look and feel, production schedule, run of show, script, and show call documents.
  • Meet with appropriate leadership to settle event requirements and update on progress.
  • Handle vendors being brought in to execute production and technical aspects.
  • Work on other event-related logistics where required by the department.
  • Budget management across multiple business units.


    Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
