The Facebook Media Partnerships team is seeking an experienced sports professional to manage strategic partnerships and implement scaled programs within the sports community. This role will serve as Facebook and Instagram's liaison to the sports community, and will plan and execute strategic initiatives with athletes and their ecosystem. This position will be located in Menlo Park.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage strategy, implementation and optimization of Facebook and Instagram's partnerships and programs with athletes Be a primary point of contact with the sports community, and work with internal cross-functional teams to build high impact programs
  • Collaborate with partners to develop innovative and high impact social integrations, and drive operational management of partnership projects
  • Be an internal advocate within Facebook and Instagram for partners, including with product teams
  • Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that Facebook is taking partner input into account in relevant product and policy decisions
  • Track, analyze and communicate quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partners


    Required Skills

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • 5+ years experience in sports/entertainment industry, with focus on digital initiatives and partnerships
  • Experience with project management, leading and handling multiple, cross-functional projects on deadline
  • Communication and presentation experience
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years sports/entertainment industry experience working on athlete-related projects
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
