Identify partnership opportunities across key categories and pitch partners
Develop solid working relationship with development/engineering, product marketing and marcom teams.
Develop and lead partnership strategy, identify target partners and development of long-term strategic marketing relationships.
Research, prospect and establish leads for lucrative new brand alignment deals.
Oversee partnership agency and coordinate with Canada, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC teams and agencies. Drive International outreach for potential partners from creation of presentations, pitches, approvals, and execution.
Ensure the execution of approved partnership campaigns, work closely with other departments within the organization including Product Marketing, Marcom, Game Studios, Events, PR and, Legal, and Finance.
Work closely with the Lifestyle and Pop Culture team to ensure alignment and consistency between partnerships / lifestyle & pop culture programming calendars, partners and strategies.
Understand the motivations and business objectives of partners to identify and recommend the right kinds of activations.
Evangelize partnership programs internally to all key stakeholders within Microsoft. This includes executives, field / regional partners, engineering teams, product marketing, etc.
Nurture new and existing relationships with partners to generate new business.
Negotiate terms for marketing partnerships, considering media exposure, creative execution, impressions, and potential costs internally and externally.
Work with Brand teams to create pitch decks directed to the appropriate audience.
Oversee and coordinate creative approval process for all partner collateral including packaging and advertising (TV, print ads, web and social media) Ensure all creative reflects the overall strategy for each product / IP.
Lead recap reports for each partnership summarizing promotional activities for executive review and success measurement

Visit international teams and partners
+6 yrs of marketing / partnerships / promotions experience in consumer-facing company or agency.
Experience working on tech or video game industry or projects
10+ years of relevant marketing / partnerships / promotions experience with a global lens preferably with a Gaming, Entertainment, Promotional Agency and/or CPG Brand.
Self-motivated leader and team player with a proven ability to work with aggressive individual and team goals.
Passion for the video game and technology space
Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with corporate clients and co-workers.
Must be creative, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and have a burning desire to succeed
Proven track record establishing and implementing marketing partnerships.
Experience with executive leadership presentations and influence
