Citizens Bank is implementing a new sponsorship that includes associations with several prominent venues as well as multiple digital extensions. This long-term initiative is a key strategic component in increasing market visibility and attracting a younger audience to the bank’s products and services. In addition to helping drive strategy, as the senior sponsorship marketing manager you will be the lead project manager, serving as the point person internally and externally for the implementation and ongoing management of this new program.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead company-wide cross-functional teams and multiple outside agencies to ensure all deliverables are implemented within established strategies, brand guidelines, strategies and. timelines.
  • Provide thought leadership in developing and implementing creative, best-in-class, integrated activation plans that deliver on objectives
  • Manage communications across all internal and external stakeholders and regularly provide formal status reports.
  • Provide regular and formal quantitative and qualitative tracking and measurement to ensure the sponsorship is delivering an appropriate return on investment.
  • Develop and manage an efficient, and equitable and system to distribute and track all tickets and hospitality assets.
  • Manage risk, compliance and budgets


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required
  • 7 - 10+ years experience in sponsorship/experiential marketing and/or relevant experience in marketing and advertising with demonstrated success managing large-scale projects required; experience in sports and/or entertainment fields desired
  • Previous experience developing creative briefs and managing multiple outside agencies required
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
