The Sports & Entertainment Marketing team (S&E) manages the firm’s sponsorship portfolio including Madison Square Garden Companies, Chase Center/Golden State Warriors, US Open tennis, Chase Field/Arizona Diamondbacks, Amelie Arena/Tampa Bay Lighting, FC Dallas, Outside Lands, Seaport District, J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge and regional expansion sponsorships.
A key S&E objective is to provide unique access and experiences to customers. This role will coordinate S&E’s events on the Chase Experiences website working with colleagues and properties across the S&E team. The role will also work with the team on day to day responsibilities to allow S&E to effectively manage to budget. The position will support the team on the logistics, administration and execution of activation plans of sponsorships as needed. This position provides an opportunity to work across the whole S&E team and learn about all of Chase sponsorships. It also provides frequent interaction with Finance, TPO, AP, Compliance and Legal and an opportunity to learn how to work with these areas. This is a unique position to learn about the sponsorship strategy of the firm and provides an introductory role to sponsorship management through financial and project support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Chase Experiences (www.chase.com/experiences)
Manage digital updates of all S&E events on Chase Experiences including scheduling, SKU submission and fulfillment materials for cardmembers
Update public page of site including copy writing, imagery, etc.
Manage ATOM (movie ticketing platform) experiences
Support financial and business management responsibilities
Partner with card and retail marketing finance to ensure expenses are tracking to budget and provide regular reporting to project teams.
Manage purchasing card use and reporting
Track use and payments of the Purchasing Card
Ensure chargebacks are submitted and S&E receives credit
Track invoices against S&E spend packages
Set up and maintain purchase orders
Track T&E and provide report monthly reporting and recommendations on expenses YTD versus plan
Help the team navigate financial tasks (payments, systems, approvals, etc.)
Set up new vendors for S&E through the firm’s processes including Accounts Payable, TPO and Sourcing
Work with the team on fulfilling Controls requirements for S&E
Work on projects as needed across research and analytics
S&E sponsorship support
Support team on Early on Sale ticket campaigns
Support social media for S&E campaigns as needed including copywriting and creative assets
Coordinate the approval of marketing materials for S&E campaigns as needed including through Ad Trax
Maintain and update the S&E general credentials deck and video. Create materials to communicate team’s successes
Support property managers as needed on allocating venue tickets to LOBs
Support property managers on sponsorship activations and retail expansion as needed
Bachelor’s degree required
2-3 years of work experience in finance, planning, project management and/or marketing
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Ability to produce reports and presentations to senior management; Understanding of financial reporting and analytics
High accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of JPMC finance systems
Experience implementing creative activations and social media campaigns. Experience with Photoshop and related software
Strong written communications
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively; Effective time management skills
Team player with the ability to work across the organization and with partners independently
