THE OPPORTUNITY:
We’ve got an incredible opportunity for a hungry and talented marketer to join our Integrated Marketing Strategy team, focusing on the Sports genre. The Integrated Marketing Strategy team is responsible for translating the business objectives into innovative integrated marketing programs, with a specific focus on genre & retail moments and our customer at the center. This role will partner closely with our Senior Integrated Marketing Sports Lead, Marketing Channels, Business team and Product to support the strategy, planning and execution of strategic marketing programs. This is a rare, one-of-a kind role, that provides a broad platform to get exposed to a number of different areas in marketing, bring creative & data driven ideas to the table and drive impact.
Location:
The Sports Integrated Marketing Manager role, will be based in San Francisco, CA and report directly the Sports Integrated Marketing Lead.
Primary job responsibilities:
Drive integrated marketing strategy and innovation for Sports: Support the Lead in developing the sports marketing strategy to support the business goals with a clear understanding of our customer, StubHub’s value proposition, the event landscape, competitive dynamics and marketing levers
Understand our customer needs and how they behave when searching for events experiences and buying tickets
Be a thought leader to identify innovation opportunities using your seasoned experience and knowledge of best-practice marketing tactics
Influence and lead a cross functional team to think creatively and drive step-changes in performance
Lead planning efforts to brief Go-To-Market and Strategic Programs in collaboration with the Sports Integrated Marketing Lead, Business, Marketing, Product and Customer Experience teams:
Assess the appropriate channel mix, strategies for each channel appropriate for the genre in close consultation with the channel leads and Marketing Leadership team.
Partner with the Brand & Creative team to brief and ideate on the necessary assets, messaging and CTAs to achieve the campaign objectives
Develop comprehensive season/team/geo and retail marketing plans to support strategy with clear objectives, timelines and tactics
Execute, analyze and learn: Be accountable for the successful execution of integrated campaigns, including Go-To-Markets and more complex Strategic Programs
Monitor the performance and measure the impact of campaigns, working closely with Analytics & Finance
Find opportunities for improvement and drive a test & learn mindset within the team
Be willing to go deep in the detail to drive operational excellence
You will need to:

Education, skills and experience
8+ years professional experience in marketing, preferably developing and running integrated campaigns for large online B2C player
BA in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent work experience
Structured thinker, data driven decision maker
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects end-to-end, thrive in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
Strong written & verbal communication skills
