This involves management of Lowe's sports partnership portfolios, including activation plans for current partnerships with the NFL, NFL Club Teams, NCAA and local NBA team.This role is responsible for managing high-profile marketing initiatives in partnership with the internal Lowe's team and external agency partners. The primary purpose of this role is to further establish the role of Sports in the overarching Lowe's media mix to build brand relevance, increase customer affinity, drive sales/traffic and increase associate engagement to Lowe's.


Responsibilities:

  • The Director, Sports Marketing will have primary responsibility to develop the strategy and execute integrated programs/events that contribute to partner ROI.
  • This includes responsibility to develop annual and initiative plans, working in close connection with internal cross-functional stakeholders (PR, Community Relations, Merchandising, Pro, Marketing teams), to ensure omni-channel activation delivers maximum impact for the partnerships.
  • This position manages the work of internal teams and external agency partners with responsibility for allocating resources appropriately to deliver results.
  • This role is the connection point with senior leadership to evaluate and develop business case(s) for current/new partnership opportunities among national/regional/local platforms within sports/entertainment that further enable Lowe's to improve connectivity to existing/new customers.
