This position is responsible for the coordination, deployment and fulfillment of marketing activation programs supporting United’s $40M sponsorship portfolio and other brand initiatives. This includes working closely with our sponsorship marketing agencies, managing events supporting the sports, entertainment and lifestyle sponsorship portfolio, and ensuring United gets the most value out of our agency support.
Work with internal groups, agencies and sponsorship properties to execute deliverables and activation programs on-time and on-budget
Oversee the design of promotional programs to ensure achievement of objectives around brand activation and customer and employee engagement
Perform critical administrative duties, including tracking and monitoring results of sponsorship activation programs
Facilitate sponsorship requests process with internal stakeholders and agency partners
Required
Extensive sponsorship marketing and agency knowledge
Knowledge of advertising and media planning
Knowledge and strong understanding of the airline industry and landscape
Understanding of global sponsorship business and social practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills
Strong project management and analytical skills
Strong budgetary skills and planning
Ability to synthesize extensive amounts of data in easily understood, short presentations
Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and ensure attention to detail
Bachelor's degree
4+ years client, agency or property experience, including sponsorship marketing
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
