Position Summary


The SponsorshipMarketing Analyst will be part of the Sponsorship Marketing team which oversees a portfolio of sports, entertainment, arts & culture sponsorships in New York, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. The Sponsorship Marketing Analyst is based in New York and reports to the Sponsorship Marketing Manager. The Analyst will be the day-to-day point of contact for a selection of partners and will be responsible for utilizing all sponsorship assets, developing and trafficking creative, allocating tickets and implementing sponsorship activations.


The Analyst relies on and partners closely with internal work groups including Brand, Design, Advertising, Product, Corporate Communications, Marketing Analytics, Legal and Revenue Management, in order to execute on sponsorship plans.


The Analyst is capable of big picture thinking while also skilled at detail-oriented execution. The Analyst enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and concepting new ways to elevate our sponsorships that set JetBlue apart. The Analyst is capable of navigating a matrix organization, is an effective communicator and is skilled at building and maintaining relationships with individuals at a variety of levels inside and outside of the organization.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee and fulfill all contractual sponsorship assets, assuring that elements work cohesively to drive JetBlue’s brand and business
  • Develop creativebriefsfor signage and digital advertising, assuring messaging consistency
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on sponsored content and programming including social media, digital & in-game features
  • Create ticket allocation plans and track fulfillment
  • Plan and execute on-site promotions
  • Support in concepting and executing sponsorship activations both online and offline, inclusive of:
  • Creative asset development
  • Scheduling social media posts
  • Briefing and securing approvals from applicable work groups
  • Managing vendors
  • Budget tracking
  • Become the internal expert on your sponsorships and monitor all storylines and developments to identify culturally relevant marketing moments for JetBlue
  • Track all sponsorship assets and programs against KPIs and develop recaps
  • Evaluate new sponsorship opportunities and support in contract development
  • Assist with research and presentation development as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


    Required Skills

    Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree inMarketing, Communications, Business, Sports Marketingor related field
  • Two (2) years of marketing, agency, communications, sports businessand / or airline experience
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Possesses a strong sense of urgency with the ability to take initiative and work independently
  • High attention to detail with the ability to think critically
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (15%)
  • In possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located


    Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of marketing, agency, communications, sports businessand / or airline experience
  • Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs
  • Experience managing Sponsorship, promotions, digital and social programs, and /or experiential activations
  • Spanish fluency


    Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report(SAR))
