Chase has developed key sponsorships and events that create a unique opportunity to engage with customers through the teams, sports, entertainers, and events they are passionate about. These sponsorships and experiences create the connections that lead to loyalty, advocacy and sales which ultimately result in driving business results. The brand manager will innovate and execute large scale marketing platforms and experiences. This role will act as a key brand lead in partnership with the Sports & Entertainment team and have a unique opportunity to set the strategy for these prominent sponsorships like the Chase Center, Madison Square Garden, and a key Chase sponsored event, the US Open. The brand lead will also drive the digital content that will live on our owned digital screens in Flagship branches, and external billboards at the Oculus WTC & Century City.


We are seeking a candidate who is a sound strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and innovation. The candidate must be focused on the consumer, be driven by intellectual curiosity, have an ability to influence others, thrive in a fast paced environment and ultimately have a desire to deliver a high performing work product. We are looking for someone who proactively pushes new thinking and new ways to innovate our sports sponsorship assets, and then provide creative vision and guidance. Also, will act as the primary contact for our Sports & Entertainment group and agency partners. Collaborate with and provide thought leadership to relevant agency partners in development of activation programs, including strategy, platform innovation, and creative ideation.


Key Responsibilities:


Brand Management

  • Maintain an understanding of Chase’s brand purpose, strategy, and standards to facilitate effective brand stewardship and cohesion across all go to market efforts.


    Brand Strategy & Creative Development

  • Partner with Sports & Entertainment to provide strategic and tactical brand creative support
  • Partner with Marketing Research team to uncover key consumer insights and test creative ideas and work.
  • Lead and set inspiring direction for our world class creative agency partners to develop innovative creative and event experiences
  • Spearhead the development of strategic overarching positioning, strategy and messaging that sets the course for powerful and cohesive creative
  • Manage production and implementation of all assets
  • Partner with functional marketing teams including digital, social, content, PR, sports & entertainment, and analytics to drive cohesive creative and measurement..
  • Thoughtfully champion creative ideas with key partners and Sr. leaders


    Compliance/Control

  • Accountable for ensuring legal/compliance/risk and control requirements are met for all creative and appropriate approvals are obtained.
  • Manage scope of work and budget associated with key deliverables


    Required Skills

    Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of high performance work experience, including marketing experience with focus on brand communications, events and experiences.
  • Strong business and marketing acumen with clear ability to distill marketing objectives and insights, and self-create viable jumping off points for creative strategy/exploration
  • Ability to write, orchestrate and deliver clear, distinct and motivating briefing sessions with both external agencies and internal teams
  • Ability to evaluate creative strategies and concepts, and give confident and constructive feedback both in moment, and through aligning comprehensive consensus across all stakeholders
  • Ability to concept, manage and effectively socialize project timelines and deliverables, and guide cross functional teams
  • Rigor to consistently leverage customer insights/data to propel creative effectiveness and business results
  • Innate talent to be a strong storyteller, who can craft presentations to align and build confidence in direction, and effectively recap the successes to continue momentum
  • Strong collaborator with demonstrated talent in influencing key stakeholders at all levels in a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of digital output with an emphasis on social, digital and experiential production and execution.
  • Excels in a dynamic, fast paced and fluid environment to meet deadlines, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working for or with agencies is a must
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • High energy with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and to perform under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Creativity and innovation focus with an eye on constant, measured improvement
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results in a matrix organization
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills (including digital presentation design)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
  • Candidate will be located in New York
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications; MBA is a plus
