Teammate will be responsible in managing, planning, and executing experiential activations and events, supporting the North America Marketing categories and against associated assets. This Teammate will manage all aspects of his/her events with key partners internally (marketing, operations, apparel, footwear, accessories, etc.) as well as external agency partners.


This is a key role to support both the NA Marketing team, as it helps build deeper connections for the the North American consumers in the region through our sports marketing assets, teams, and grassroots platforms. In this role, it is mandatory to obsess over the brand and the details, This is an integral role on the regional Experiential Marketing team, ensuring that all attendees, consumers, etc. have a positive experience with the Brand.


Responsibilities:

  • Overall manage, development, and execution of experiential activations supporting sports marketing and grassroots
  • Develop the customer journey and experience within activations supporting and supported by Under Armour’s sports marketing assets
  • Responsible for integrating and managing key metrics around UA Sports Marketing events, as well as other Tier 1 and Tier 2 categories
  • Develop strong external agency contacts for various levels of event execution needs
  • Manage program budgets and analysis to management on a monthly basis
  • Manage all project milestones, event analysis, and present status to senior management
  • Direct event activity to ensure delivery of key company vision, strategies, and representation
  • Develop show and event strategies reflective of the marketing goals for each individual department and program
  • Direct and manage show development including all administrative tasks. The request will include, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, site visits, budgets, contracts, post show analysis data collection, and hotel accommodations
  • Translate goals/objectives of multiple businesses into a cohesive message
  • Create and manage all graphics and promotional items ordered with the brand marketing team and outside vendors
  • Ensure timely execution and production of key deliverables (event communication and support materials)
  • Responsible for managing event design renderings and approvals of layout with all parties involved
  • Maintain strong relationships with related partners in the industry
  • Market activations to meet marketing goals and display big stories
  • Plan, create, organize, and coordinate all event materials, shipping arrangements, etc.

    Required Skills

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-6 years of events experience, overseeing entire lifecycle (planning, execution and reconciliation) is required
  • Experience with large-scale event management/execution (1,000+ attendants)
  • Experience in project management of external vendors and internal stakeholders
  • True understanding and exposure to experiential marketing. Within the retail industry is preferred.
  • Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Deep understanding of the customer experience
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, Publisher, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.


    Physical Demands The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and often lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


    Travel

  • Must be flexible to work long hours, including evenings and some weekends
  • Travel approximately 40% of the year
