Manager, Brand Experiential Marketing & Events


Capital One is seeking a talented experiential marketing professional to join the Brand team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the experiential marketing strategy and execution to deliver breakthrough experiences. You will lead the work to deliver exclusive experiences for high value customers by leveraging national and regional sponsorship platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience with developing strategy, evaluating and socializing opportunities, leading negotiations and managing large scale execution of national partnerships. You will be responsible for ensuring that experiences align with overall marketing strategy, deliver on Brand objectives and tie into an integrated marketing campaign. You will also be expected to balance the fast-paced day to day management of the role, while developing new, innovative experiences and strategies that meet business needs and exceed customer expectations. Travel required.


What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop a strategy to re-imagine the client experience at high profile programs and create best in class access, benefits and experiences
  • Collaborate with Brand Sponsorships, Advertising, Social, PR and internal Lines of Businesses to deliver end-to-end Brand defining experiences at major sponsorship activations
  • Be a trusted partner and day-to-day liaison with internal and external partners including developing strong vendor relationships
  • Oversee the implementation of activations and experiences to include venue/vendor contracting, travel booking, transportation and onsite management
  • Track, benchmark and report on key performance indicators
  • Foster an environment of motivation, inspiration, curiosity and passion for the work we do

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Record of sound decision making under pressure/compressed timelines
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with competing deadlines, in a dynamic work environment
  • Flexibility to travel 30%, and comfortable with some night and weekend events


    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in leading Experiential Marketing or Client Hospitality strategy and activation


    Preferred Qualification

  • At least 10 years of experience in leading Experiential Marketing or Client Hospitality strategy and activation
  • Experiential marketing agency, corporate sponsorship or brand management background
  • Previous management of multi-day experiences focused on client entertainment and customer engagement
