Champs Sports has a brand NEW position open on their Marketing Team. We are looking to bring on a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to our Champs family here in Florida. This role will play an integral part in building and driving the Champs Sports marketing strategy in the U.S.—with the goal of improving omni-channel traffic, engagement and conversion.


As the Senior Manager you will partner with the buying team to identify and prioritize key product stories. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive fully integrated demand creation efforts, including go-to-market strategies, curated launch calendars, visual merchandising solutions, targeted media campaigns, digital marketing, event activations, PR and social media plans. Support the roll out of new retail transformation pilots and omni-channel optimization efforts. Communicate plans across the division and facilitate brand alignment. Collaborate and maintain a positive relationship with Champs Sports vendor partners to develop and execute joint campaigns. And develop team capabilities while sustaining a culture within our team that is aligned with that of the company and enhances our productivity and effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to the development of short and long-term marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics to deliver against agreed upon brand, business, and financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver best-in-class marketing solutions against key initiatives to drive. awareness and preference that align with Champs Sports strategy and positioning.
  • Set social media strategy across all social platforms to drive store traffic and sales.
  • Oversee influencer marketing strategy as it relates to Champs Sports specific programming and support.
  • Oversee integrated media plans that drive both brick and mortar and on-line traffic and sales.
  • Develop and oversee the management of the P1 intake process and production of integrated above-the-line marketing efforts.
  • Participates in the development and execution of annual marketing plan and assists in building the Champs brand strategy.
  • Oversees the management of retail event activation in key markets or around key moments, and assist in the development of local and event marketing opportunities around key markets or moments.
  • Collaborates on expense planning with Sr. Director of Marketing and Brand Directors.
  • Work with media team to develop and evaluate all media plans and initiatives.
  • Work with agencies in the creative development process and execution of all advertising campaigns, including television, digital, OOH, mobile, events and alternative media.
  • Works with external and internal partners to measure and analyze sales impact and the profitability/ROI of marketing expenditures.
  • Work with Communications team to develop strategic public relations initiatives.
  • Develop and negotiate vendor supported programs working closely with buying team.
  • Monitor the "pulse" of the consumer as trends change, develop, and presents recommendations in brand strategy as they begin to emerge

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, retail, brand or product management.
  • Retail, CPG or Agency experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for sneaker, sports, and youth culture highly preferred.
  • Successful track record leading and growing a marketing team.
  • Extremely resourceful and proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions with strong ability to comfortably handle multiple high-profile situations simultaneously.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability thrive in a fast moving yet collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working with senior leadership.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Budget evaluation/resource allocation experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed.
