The Influencer Marketing Manager is responsible for management, strategy and success of the KontrolFreek Creators and Esports Ascenders programs, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing. The Influencer Marketing Manager is charged with building the program structure and objectives to establish productive, meaningful and long-lasting relationships with content producers and aspiring Esports athletes.
Responsibilities
End-to-end channel management, including program definition, software tools, KPIs, marketing materials and personnel
Ensure active channel pipeline, with ability to assess, score and act upon inbound and outbound opportunities
Communicate directly with influencer partners and log activity in CRM according to cadence established in the program strategy guidelines
Create and distribute news, assets and campaign decks to affiliates for the purpose of publicizing marketing campaigns, promotions and sales
Ownership and optimization of marketing automation tactics with respect to affiliates (welcome series, status updates, etc.)
Monitoring of social channels for KontrolFreek-related content, for the purposes of evaluating existing affiliate activity and discovering new affiliates
Management and optimization of recruitment and on-boarding materials (marketing materials, web pages, terms and conditions, etc.)
Weekly reporting on metrics including number of applications, new affiliates, impressions, sessions and affiliate-driven revenue
Selection and activation of affiliates for marketing campaigns and product launches
Maintenance of the KontrolFreek Creators library of content, examples and best-practices
Drive accountability within Affiliate programs, including minimum participation standards
Work with the marketing team to craft thoughtful, forward-thinking affiliate engagements as part of marketing campaigns and executions
Plan and execute influencer benefits and experiential events
Coverage and travel to Esports and industry events as necessary
1-3 years experience affiliate or influencer marketing experience
3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
Interest and experience in the video games industry, Esports and content creation
Self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
Detail oriented with strong organization skills.
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with new systems and software.
Determined work ethic with a high degree of attention to detail, intellectual motivation, and data-driven mentality.
