The Manager of Sports Partnerships will primarily focus on the daily management and growth of our partnerships within the 4 domestic sports leagues, as well as 140+ collegiate sports properties and rights holders. This team member also will be responsible for working with our data team on tracking and reporting on various listening trends, interfacing with external partners, and work closely with the product, engineering, content, and ad ops teams across the business. What You'll Do
Work directly with teams and leagues on growing partnerships to drive more value for TuneIn
Directly negotiate contracts with new and existing content partners and rights holders
Complete competitive analysis, track and forecast trends within the industry to ensure TuneIn maintains market position
Work closely with finance & legal teams to complete financial deal models, review and collaborate on contract deal terms, etc
Collaborate with BD, Sales teams on internal direct sports business opportunities (partners like Amazon, FanDuel, etc)
Track listening data and report trends to upper management (working with data team)
What You Need
4 years of partnership management experience within radio, television or digital sports company
Experience working with external partners and doing contract negotiations, preferably with professional sports teams and leagues
Experience working cross-functionally with finance, BD, Sales & marketing teams
Experience using Google suite, Apple Keynote, other business software
Experience building and presenting overview decks with PowerPoint / Keynote
Passion and knowledge for sports content & marketing
Multitasker who can handle multiple high-stress projects at once with a tight turnaround
Problem solver, independent, and proactive
Excellent communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal. Partner facing experience a plus
Effective time-management skills and the ability to produce excellent work on deadline
Familiarity with core business tools (Salesforce, Keynote, Excel, G Suite)
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with others within the department and other areas of the company as well as thrive in a team environment
