The Brand Partnerships and Experiential Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of non-profit and for-profit partners for Subaru and its retailers that support brand goals.


Primary Responsibilities:


Must be able to perform all of these:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of non-profit and for-profit partnerships. Craft mutually beneficial relationships with national partners for Subaru and its retailers for the Subaru Love Promise. Areas of focus include: Subaru Loves to Care, Subaru Loves to Help, Subaru Loves Pets and Share the Love.
  • Manage partnerships through day-to-day operations, developing RFPs, negotiating and managing agreements, agreement deliverables, project management, initiative implementation, and reporting on measurements of success. Work closely with colleagues on the marketing communications plans, content development, media and PR plans.
  • Prospect for new strategic partners.
  • Evaluate partnership portfolio and sponsorship proposals.
  • Manage event activation, related to initiatives with partners, along with third-party agency.


    Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ability to translate partner value and initiatives across various levels of the organization: executives, marketing, corporate social responsibility, corporate communications, customer service, legal, risk management, field.
  • Apply continuous improvement to existing projects and partners.
  • Manage partner vehicle fleet.
  • Use of research, data and trends to inform decisions and recommended course of action.

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Financial acumen and managing a budget is required.
  • Strong project management skills are required.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills are required. The position has exposure to all levels of the organization, including executive team.
  • Strong team player.
  • Adept at building relationships.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, field operations, retailer (dealership) operations, or related experience a plus.
  • Experience with non-profits, cause marketing, brand partnerships, contract negotiations, or related experience is a plus.


    Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience.
