The successful candidate should be very passionate about Marketing and demonstrate a track record in successfully working with/within professional sports teams and commercial partnerships. He/she will also love marketing and will have worked effectively on all aspects of branding, advertising, design & marketing across a broad range of offline and online platforms.

This person will report to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Marketing and will work closely with the senior leadership team of IOA Personal Lines business, wider IOA business units, all of our sports partners and our external marketing agency.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and lead the Sports & Affinity Partnerships strategy
  • Plan and write an online program road-map through stakeholder engagement and external agency involvement for the web and mobile strategy for ‘activating’ our sponsorship with each sports partner to drive Personal Lines growth
  • Management of appropriate external suppliers such as our Digital Marketing agencies and Marketing Departments
  • Develop and manage a full spectrum of channels: PPC, Paid Social, SEO, Email, CRM, Display and Re-targeting
  • Build a robust PR, CSR and Communication Strategy
  • Create, test and implement digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, and optimize all campaigns for lead generation and customer retention and acquisition
  • Measure and report performance of all partnership marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Build a marketing communication / treatment strategy from segmentation analysis for all products and all campaigns for each partnership
  • Work in concert with the sales team, develop a relentless ‘prospect pool’ of customer opportunities/leads, ensure all Outbound campaigns are set up, automated, working seamlessly and reporting available to track performance
  • Work with Data Analytics team to execute a Marketing Strategy based on Customer Lifetime Value Model
  • Design Customer Journeys for all products across all customer touch points

    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business required (MBA preferred)
  • Significant experience in managing and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Outstanding communicator with extensive relationship management experience
  • Experience in working with marketing teams and external marketing agencies to optimize the effectiveness of customer acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Create campaigns with a testing mindset and judge campaign effectiveness on data
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix, with a passion for digital marketing with a results-oriented approach evident
