ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Develops and coordinates various events and other cross marketing opportunities with properties and partnerships
  • Acts as liaison between property personnel and partners ensuring communication is provided as needed
  • Maintains ticket counts and ensures the proper tracking of ticket inventory.
  • Communicates the forecasts and results of sponsored events to leadership.
  • Manages the coordination of transportation for marketing events to include scheduling, criteria, and room block maintenance.
  • Manages player accounts and comps based on recorded play, earned points, comp availability and patron profitability.
  • Provides superior level of guest service.
  • Available to meet and greet premium customers while they are on property.
  • Ensures all elements of partner contracts are tracked and fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Must work with property leaders to schedule on property events for our corporate partners.
  • Maintains close ties with targeted customers during guest stays through personal contact by phone and in person to generate incremental gaming revenues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Must be able to make sound complimentary decisions based on tracked customer play.
  • Maintains a running report of event status and availability.
  • Provides support for marketing events which may include creation of newsletters and collateral, creation of monthly production reporting and allocation
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • This position may require travel
  • Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
  • Performs all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, sports management or related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of related experience required, preferably in Casino or Sports Marketing.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Technical proficiency & knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook). Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written direction and drive toward results.
  • Must be able and willing to work any shift and long hours when necessary to include working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Strong understanding of gaming industry, special events and entertainment related activities helpful.
  • Independently initiates, follows up, and completes assignments on time and on budget.
  • Ability to interface professionally with casino customers, business contacts and internal departments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment and tact.


    LANGUAGE SKILLS


    Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


    REASONING ABILITY


    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
