We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Corporate Partnerships Manager to manage day-to-day activation of our brand partnerships with Mitel’s professional sports customers, including Major League Baseball and Liverpool FC.
In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to build relationships and execute sponsor programs that increase Mitel’s brand awareness, drive demand, engage our partner community and deliver quantifiable ROI. As a key member of our corporate marketing team, you’ll use your exceptional project management capabilities, creativity and strong communication skills to bring our partnerships to life through integrated marketing campaigns and high profile domestic and international events that amplify the Mitel brand.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in the continental US. Remote work or a core Mitel office location are acceptable.
10-20% travel for partnership events will be required. Applicants need to demonstrate the flexibility to support this requirement.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for Mitel’s professional sports partners, building relationships with key stakeholders that position Mitel as an exceptional partner
Serve as the go-to resource for internal teams and channel partners seeking to leverage Mitel’s corporate partnership programs
Lead project and event management for high-profile MLB jewel events, including All-Star Game, Postseason and the 2020 Mitel and MLB Present London Series
Work collaboratively with field teams and channel partners to drive results-oriented hospitality events, including Mitel’s annual 30 ballpark MLB roadshow series and postseason ticket bank
Coordinate with field and product teams to create effective field promotions that drive business
Propose and drive activations that add value for joint marketing partners
Manage activation spend, including budgeting, activation & gear order processing, and invoice handling, always ensuring Mitel is on or under budget
Drive, develop and coordinate content, videos, digital assets and social posts that tell the story of how Mitel is making communications seamless for professional sports teams, always ensuring content is on-brand, relevant and grammatically correct
Coordinate with Mitel sales teams and partners to track partnership ROI; recommend and implement optimization techniques that increase the ROI of activation activities
Manage in-season and annual reporting for partnership programs
Drive employee engagement and pride around Mitel partnerships by ideating and executing fun employee activities that align with key sports season milestones
Ensure Mitel’s adherence to league and club brand requirements and approval processes, serving as the go-to advisor and liaison for internal teams
Ensure activation deliverables are delivered on time, approved and done to the highest quality
Exceptional project management skills with an ability to keep cross-functional teams on track
Proven event management/coordination experience
Polished, professional written and verbal communication skills, plus confidence in your ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
Strong ideation skills and experience working with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life

Collaborative and energetic personality
Ability to speak intelligently about professional sports, particularly baseball (you don’t have to be an expert but must know the basics of the game and league)
Proven experience working in a metrics-driven marketing environment, with knowledge of Salesforce preferred
Previous experience in branding and/or channel marketing is ideal
At least 4-5 years in B2B, tech or sports marketing, or brand activation
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent professional experience preferred
