This individual will work closely with Marketing HQ and Field Marketing to lead day to day event planning and management and serve as Field Marketing Manager for the GT’s Kombucha and GT’s CocoKefir/Yo brands. This will involve event scheduling, planning and set up, networking to identify appropriate events in your markets, development of the brand in off premise channel and brand education. Educate consumers on the GT’s brands and unique properties behind each.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and execute local sampling/demos and lifestyle events at various venues. Venues may span retail locations to full sponsorships.
  • Partner with Marketing to identify key events with brand aligned companies to build a solid presence for the GT’s brands.
  • Participate in strategic coordination and execution of sampling initiatives.
  • Ensure product and educational materials are properly displayed in-store when executing demos.
  • Be responsible in sourcing key tools and materials for demos/events as well as assist with the evolution of our demo and event aesthetic.
  • Develop strong business relationships with stores, retail outlets and foodservice accounts in order to gain and drive distribution and visibility for our brand.
  • Glean key information from consumers to better understand any challenges and hurdles with GT’s Brands inclusive of CocoKefir and CocoYo.
  • Identify opportunities at store level to help elevate the GT brands via targeted POS and merchandising. Optimize shelf set when appropriate.
  • Develop a relationship with our key distributors to understand key needs and business opportunities.
  • Ensure a positive attitude when interacting with consumers.
  • Participate in strategic coordination and execution of sampling initiatives.
  • Create detailed event recaps including success stories, key learning’s and areas for improvement post events.
  • Compile a list of key consumer insights and takeaways to help influence our strategy and marketing tactics for all GT brands.
  • Identify market trends and interpret how those trends will affect marketplace
  • Be fastidious in maintaining receipts and keeping track of own and consultant expenses to submit for reimbursement.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact and driver to attend various sampling events, sponsorships, etc.
  • Ensure that the van is properly maintained, cleaned and in pristine condition for any event or activity.
  • FMM will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and allocation of product for events as well as premium items to be given or sold to consumers.
  • FMM may be asked to also sample CocoKefir and CocoYo products at designated events and also deliver product to key customers.
  • Manage a small budget to cover event fees and overall vehicle maintenance.
  • Act as a key role model for the GT’s portfolio of brands helping to spread the love for the entire brand family.


    Required Skills

  • Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of Marketing or related experience with at least two (2) years’ experience at the supervisor and/or manager level, OR
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in Marketing or related field
  • One-year experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Languages: Bilingual, English and Spanish, is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Superior Excel skills and proficiency with entire MS Office Suite required, and ERP experience strongly preferred (Microsoft
  • Dynamics 365 is a plus).
