The NAM Sports Marketing and Sponsorships Specialist will be responsible for implementation and day-to-day logistics of the NAM sponsorships, partners, athletes and events. This position will assist the Director with preparing presentations, identifying opportunities, guiding strategy and evaluating results to ensure that departmental strategies and objectives are met and are in line with the needs and mission of Herbalife Nutrition. In addition the position will have direct involvement and oversight of key relationships with the company's alliance portfolio.


DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Manage all department administrative responsibilities including purchase requisitions, invoices P&E orders, ticket distribution, Hands storage inventory, ordering promotional products, expense reports, shipping, travel logistics, event timelines, ROS, recaps, merchandise inventory and storage and other office related tasks
  • Manage cross-functional teams pertaining to sponsorship events (Sales and Events, Marketing, Finance, Sports Performance, Social Media, WW Communication)
  • Assist with management of all aspects of key sponsorships and relationships within the endurance and soccer community including but not limited to, opportunity analysis, contract execution, sponsorship plan, activation, management and year end analysis
  • Tracking creative elements and communication pieces that have been created and distributed
  • Work with the NAM Sponsorship team to develop and implement national sports and athlete marketing programs.
  • Work with the NAM Sponsorship team to develop programs with the regional sales liaisons around the country to help guide and implement programs at the local level.
  • Manage mobile and sampling program and experiential agency
  • Responsible for all sponsorship inquiries and replies internally and externally
  • Responsible for managing off-site events from logistics to marketing elements
  • Assist with the development of sponsorship tools for training of regional sales staff and Herbalife members


    Required Skills


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


    Skills:

  • Fluent in oral and written Spanish
  • Understanding sports and entertainment industry specifically in sponsorship marketing
  • Ability to exhibit passion for sports and entertainment marketing
  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills in local market language, including meeting facilitation and presentations
  • Fluent in presentation development (PPT or similar program)


    Experience:

  • 4 years of relevant experience in a marketing related role
  • Media and sports agency management experience
  • Experience in event management
  • Experience in the sports industry


    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7 years of relevant experience in a marketing related role
  • Media and sports agency management experience
  • Experience with the sports marketing industry
  • Experience in sports marketing, athlete and/or team and league sponsorships and management
  • Bachelor degree in a marketing related field
  • Understanding of the endurance and soccer related community
  • Ability to find creative and unique solutions for non-traditional integration into sports and entertainment
  • Ability to effectively elevate strategic concerns to senior management in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to establish an independent view, effectively collaborate in decision-making and motivate others during difficult situations or on tough organizational issues
  • Ability to solve practical problems and organize workload for effective implementation under general supervision
