Overview
Support development of the global sponsorship marketing strategy with an emphasis on social and digital components
Help develop and implement platform-specific integrated programs in entertainment, golf, esports, rugby, soccer and/or other passion platforms from a social and digital perspective
Participate in the establishment and disseminate best practices in sponsorship marketing activation Mastercard regions and key markets as it relates to digital, social and mobile components
Lead geographic and multifunctional digital and social integration for sponsorship platforms
Help develop and supervise consistent delivery and adherence to sponsorship marketing processes and systems, and KPIs
Responsibilities
Helps establish and oversee tracking and results against sponsorship marketing KPIs.
Serves as cross functional and interdisciplinary liaison with all relevant groups required to maximize the success of integrated sponsorship marketing programs.
Contribute to the thought leadership in sponsorship marketing as it relates to digital and social marketing
Coordinates sponsorship marketing activities with product, consumer, issuer, merchant, Mastercard Advisors, media, communications, and other key internal stakeholders.
Helps manage agency partners, rightsholders, and other support personnel and rightsholders responsible for sponsorship activation.
Serves as center of excellence and consults with all regions and key markets on best practices for sponsorship marketing n the social, digital and media space
Helps develop, manage, and oversee fulfillment of business development and monetization opportunities with issuers, merchants, and new business opportunities
Creates and sells-in sponsorship marketing solutions and services for internal and external stakeholders.
Support internal and external sponsorship marketing communication initiatives to evangelize opportunities and maximize utilization of sponsorship market assets and opportunities.
Serves as both an internal and external facing sponsorship marketing coordinator in the social, digital and mobile space with key constituents to drive thought leadership, strategic partnerships, and other initiatives aligned with Mastercard KPIs.
Champions integration of sponsorship marketing campaigns with digital, social, mobile aspects
Serves as key liaison for all necessary approvals among communications, legal, etc. for the social, and digital components of sponsorship activation
Diverse sponsorship marketing experience with multiple properties/platforms
International marketing experience
Experience working with Fortune 500 brands invested in sponsorship marketing, experience with the financial services category preferred
Experience in digital/social marketing strategy
Proficient in social and digital marketing platforms
Exposure to marketing preferred
Commitment to international travel
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with both global, cross-functional and agency teams
Strong written and presentation communication skills
