We are hiring for a contract Partnership Marketing Specialist! This position will support partnership team in the day-to-day relationship management and execution of Carnival partnerships, including those in the discipline of entertainment, sports/lifestyle, and celebrity influencers, to achieve business goals of enhancing the Carnival brand, driving bookings, and elevating guest satisfaction. Includes execution of cooperative promotions with like-minded consumer brands. Works closely with cross-discipline shoreside marketing teams, as well as shipboard operations and external agency partners, to execute against partnership activation plans.

Essential Functions:

  • Support in the execution of partnership marketing plans, working closely with the Senior Manager of Partnerships. Assist in the integrated execution of partnership marketing programs and activation efforts and ensure compliance with all brand and partner parameters.
  • Support in the management of creative development, review, approvals, and asset delivery.
  • Play a lead role in the management of sweepstakes and lead generation campaigns, including development of rules, fulfilment of prizes, promotion, management of vendors, etc.
  • Support in the creation of partnership presentations to provide updates on partnership activations to stakeholders. Serve as partnership team representative within integrated marketing team at various meetings.
  • Assist or lead ad hoc projects, typically from incremental opportunities provided by partners or through internal collaboration on various projects.
  • Manage invoicing and other administrative tasks as needed to support the partnership team.

    Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred
  • 3-5 years of partnership marketing experience
  • Understanding of partnerships including partnership management, activation planning, execution, and asset management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with hands-on experience working with external and internal partners, personalities and agencies.
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystem.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills a must to manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Ability to find creative solutions and sort through challenges to achieve desired results.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic team-player with ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • May require work outside of normal business hours.
