Manage and develop National Dealer facing events, manages the daily operations of Kia’s Auto Show and Point-of-Sale Merchandising Programs and Experiential programs. These operations include, but is not limited to, show site supervision, concept development, and show site event/promotion coordination and all around experience of event development, management and marketing.
Major Responsibilities
1st Priority - 45%
Auto Shows:
Lead the planning of the Auto Show related events including: selection of agency partner/s, the appropriate shows/venues, arranging for and securing the right model mix of vehicles, data capture and overall lead reporting.
2nd Priority - 25%
Dealer Events:
Developing, organizing, planning, leading, and promoting a range of large scale dealer events.
3rd Priority - 20%
Experiential:
Lead the planning of the Auto Show Ride and Drive initiatives including: selection of agency partner/s, the appropriate shows/venues, arranging for and securing the right model mix of vehicles, data capture and overall lead reporting. With support of the National Manager of Partnerships and Experiential; Administer experiential marketing activities and Collaborate with KMA Market Research / other internal departments, and partner agencies to develop and execute consumer/fan surveys. Ensure that surveys are the voice of the customer and that methodology / questions / results meet the business needs. Assist Partnerships Mgr with day to day operations of experiential marketing events and partnerships.
4th Priority - 10%
Assist Regions/DMGs with any local Ride and Drive or display activations
Education/Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or equivalent directly related experience.
Overall Experience
Overall Related Experience:
Minimum seven to ten years in a marketing environment. Preferably within the Automotive Industry.
Other Requirements:
Travel will be required domestically and/or internationally.
May need to work additional hours outside of normal business hours as required by the job, including weekends or holidays.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Directly Related Experience
Four to six years’ experience working within an auto show environment.v
