Event Activations/Motorsports:
Coordinate co-branded onsite activations with our external activation agency of record MAG (Marketing Activations Group), and the Cooper Tire Salesforce; National Retailers and Dealer Channel for both PBR (Professional Bull Riding) and Motorsports
Work with contracted/sponsored athletes (PBR, Racing) on Sales/Marketing requests and Meet & Greets
Work with agencies of contracted/sponsored athletes on uniforms and logo placements
Management of the Rally Racing Program
Manage the Cooper Tire Rally Racing program with help from Xtreme TM
Manage the relationship with ARA (American Rally Association)
Manage the contingency program with racers
Work with local promoters on sponsorship programs
Review potential activation and future sponsorship opportunities
Creating value in our Motorsports programs, by linking to our product portfolio
Ticketing
Coordination of tickets for all events with Sales Teams
Purchasing of additional tickets above allocations and chargeback to Cost Centers
Coordination of VIP Hospitality and onsite Tours
Trade Shows / Meetings
Assist in organization of Meeting Planning (Mid-Year, National Sales Meeting and Dealer events)
Assist with Trade Show Management (SEMA, Roadmaster, Dealer and Key Accounts)
Planning, point contact for trade show organizations, booth layout and design, manage relationship with external vendors and exhibit houses for Roadmaster and Key Accounts
Registration of all attendees
Product ordering and final finish screening process
Travel booking and onsite meeting space allocation
Assistance with external meetings and dinners
SAP / PO and Invoice processing:
Super-user for Sales / Marketing
Create and process all PO’s and invoices for the department
Assist with PO processing for other departments within Sales and Marketing
New Vendor on-boarding
P-Card Purchasing for all Sales and Marketing
Processing and account reconciliation each month
Purchase and design custom merchandise for Sales/Key Accounts and process all payments
Manage relationships with Merchandising Vendors
Back-up for the Co-op processing credits
Participate and lead internal continuous improvement initiatives
Work towards completion and certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt within 24 months
Manage Full-time Temporary Staff personnel
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with event marketing
Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time (1-2 weekends per month, domestic travel)
Excellent organizational, prioritization, written & interpersonal skills
Must be detailed oriented and handle multiple projects on a prioritization calendar
Meet all deadlines and work under time constraints
Ability to make decisions onsite at activations, when needed
Social media savvy
MS Office Experience (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
SAP Experience
