Sr. Sponsorship Accounts Manager is responsible for managing ongoing activation and fulfillment activities for the PRCA family of sponsors. They are tasked with providing oversight on daily operations, meeting long-term deadlines and implementing sponsorship programs for the PRCA and PRCA Properties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES


Shall include the following in coordination with another team member. This is a partial list and other duties will be assigned.

  • Reports to the Vice President of Corporate Development
  • Assist in all aspects of PRCA marketing; manage PRCA, Circuits, Tour Banners Flags and Patches Assist with sponsorship relations and fulfillment
  • Facilitates all Sponsor Programs within set guidelines and deadlines
  • Wrangler National Finals Rodeo repsonsibilities include: Assist with sponsor hospitality at the Thomas and Mack Arena in Las Vegas;
  • Assist and manage all sponsor activation in Las Vegas during NFR; Coordinate the contestant autograph sessions with Las Vegas Events; Facilitate the PRCA Hospitality Room (to include ordering food); Order various awards and materials according to the timeline developed; Provide internal list to accounting department of all sponsor awards/disbursements
  • Assist with Production for PRCA Year End Awards Banquet and Contestant Welcome Reception. Production responsibility for scripts, awards, coordinates with tech crew and the South Point Hotel. Schedule rehearsals and communicate to music director, emcee, Tech Crew, and Hotel
  • Montana Silversmiths merchandise contact: Communicates with VPCD and obtains approval for NFR merchandise and NFR awards. Order all buckles and awards through-out the year to include all year-end awards and NFR awards

  • Ability to respond appropriately to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community.
  • Proficient business vocabulary to effectively represent the executive and the company.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Adobe Photoshop a must.
  • Ability to schedule travel arrangements accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understands and meets performance standards.
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge of industry.
  • Must be well-versed in all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat. Must have strong understanding of AP writing style. Video editing skills are a plus.


    EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; 5 or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the sports industry, media and/or rodeo is a plus.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Working conditions: Works in office environment and occasionally travels out of state on business. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, walk and stand. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


    EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flex availability on weekends and evenings.
