The Manager of Partnerships and Events is responsible for helping PXG grow in revenue and in increased numbers of dedicated and loyal customers through developing and managing Events and Corporate Partnerships. You will develop strategies, objectives and plans to build and then continually refine these channels. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams, and other members of the operation to ensure success, as seen from both the company’s and customers’ perspectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee efficient communications and day-to-day management of the fulfillment team (especially for the eBay store)
  • Develop partnership strategies and designs for the various programs and channels to maximize revenue
  • Serve as the point of contact for corporate partners to assess viability for collaboration
  • Negotiate and close integrated marketing deals with partners that align with the PXG brand and achieve specific objectives for the partner
  • Manage and execute PXG event strategy and calendar to ensure activations lift both brand and sales
  • Develop event brand standards and a network of approved providers to support events across the country
  • Support store activations and regional sales teams with event planning, budgeting, execution and ensure brand standards are strictly adhered to
  • Develop and maintain a company wide events database, reporting on ROI and assessing against brand strategy
  • Create and manage the strategic plan for promotional events
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure alignment with the business, sales revenue goals and marketing and brand objectives
  • Execute on program objectives and metrics through tracking mechanisms and analysis
  • Report on overall program/event results and communicate with ownership around metrics, success and challenges
  • Handle multiple projects and prioritize appropriately to produce high-quality results quickly and on time
  • Other duties as assigned


    Required Skills


    Experience and Education Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Sports Management or other related field
  • 5 -7 years’ experience in event development/management or marketing
  • Prior experience managing and producing small- and large-scale event programs, including event operations and logistics

  • Exceptional communication skills; verbal/pubic speaking, written, presentations
  • Proven track record of building effective relationships with high-end accounts
  • Deep understanding of strategic events and partnership management
  • Project management capabilities with strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to juggle multiple demanding priorities
  • Ability to own and effectively execute events, plans and programs
  • Self-starter, does not need constant direction
  • Enthusiasm for golf or sports in general
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance driven environment
  • Creative, with an understanding of marketing concepts
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Ability to collaborate internally with support teams (Sales, Ops, Finance, etc.)
