The Pepsi Sports Marketing team is looking for a passionate, dynamic marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment to spearhead our emerging Sports platform, as well as assist in managing our Action Sports marketing initiatives focused against the Pepsi Energy Portfolio.


The Senior Manager is responsible for developing and executing our approach to leverage the growing phenomenon of Traditional Sports and Action Sports to maximize brand and business objectives. The role will also assist in developing and executing our Action Sports initiatives including the Dew Tour, branded content and athlete sponsorships.


This role on the Sports Marketing team will work closely with the Pep Energy brand team and wire across various cross-functional groups including PR, Media, Field Marketing, Sales, external agencies and partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring and build relationships with the Sports community (teams, leagues, media partners, etc.) and leverage on behalf of Energy Brand objectives
  • Make strategic partnership investment recommendations including how assets would be maximized to meet brand/business objectives
  • Lead internal education on Sports with brands and cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. Brand, Media, Digital, Packaging, Legal, Trademark, Consumer Relations) to develop, plan, facilitate and advise on Sports/Energy brand programming and creative deliverables including national TV, Radio, point of sale, customer and digital
  • Continual immersion in and monitoring of the Sports industry to identify new opportunities to engage participants, fans and partners
  • Assist in planning, developing and executing Energy’s core Action Sports agenda including Dew Tour, athlete sponsorships and branded content
  • Manage our core agency and property partners to deliver results
  • Facilitate partner and agency status meetings


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Sports Marketing, knowledge in Action Sports specifically as a plus
