This is a new role for a new type of experience – we’re seeking a Community Integration Manager. A key differentiator at the new DICK’S will be the experiences we’re creating. If you’re a community connector and a marketing and public relations pro – this could be your next big move.
The role you’ll play:
Develop brand awareness and loyalty in the community through deep, strategic relationships.
Along with the Community Integration Director, build relationships with community teams, leagues, and organizations encouraging them to choose DICK’S as their sporting goods retailer and community gathering place of choice.
Assist in the execution and evaluation of all store level marketing activities, partnerships and initiatives.
Generate revenue opportunities through expertise/product trial strategies and events
Work with the Event Planner to organize and execute corporate leagues and in store gathering for team building purposes.
Assist in the creation and development of Victor, NY public relations campaigns for external audiences to support the Company's brand campaigns, special events, community marketing and PR, celebrity and entertainment relations, vendor activations communication and events.
Support community partnerships, focused on building partnerships within the community and leveraging these partnerships to create experiences and events in Victor, NY.
Work with the Community Marketing Manager to partner with the DICK’S Foundation to drive Sports Matter initiatives, creating a focus on the impact we’re making in youth sports. Evaluate donation and sponsorship requests while working in conjunction with Sponsorport program.
Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities.
Perform other tasks as assigned supporting the greatest sports retail experience out there!
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, Marketing or related area
3+ years of marketing, public relations, events experience
3+ years of social media marketing experience
A plus: strong current relationship in our Victor/Rochester region
Tremendous passion and experience in event and community management
Project management experience and business leader mindset
Excellent communication, project management, operations and organizational skills
Strong relationship building experience
A passion for relentless improvement, embracing and driving positive change
