Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented, self-directed program manager to build and manage an executive engagement program leveraging premium sports and entertainment hospitality experiences. The Sr. Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for the planning, budgeting, execution and optimization of hospitality assets within our AMER region to accelerate deals, drive incremental revenue and deepen relationships with CxOs from our most strategic customers.


A successful candidate for this role is an independent, create problem-solver with great business acumen and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing deadlines. The right candidate will possess strong project management skills and be able to execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You are an extremely organized individual with experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. You will also be exceptional at building relationships within the team and across the business. You will utilize your attention to detail, your experience in program and project management, and your excellent written communication skills to ensure high quality results. You will use your knowledge of hospitality in the sports and entertainment world to create unique, bucket-list experiences for our customers.


Must also be a passionate advocate for customers, their on-site experience and their ongoing interaction with AWS.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the strategic plan for hospitality programming in the designated geo (AMER).
  • Partnering with Field Marketing and Sales leadership to identify target audiences and develop targeted customer nomination and registration campaigns.
  • Work directly with our Sports and Entertainment partners to create compelling, premium hospitality experiences for our customers.
  • Manage communications and presentations on the program to inform stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • Manage 3P agencies who will provide event and logistics support for each program.
  • Manage hospitality program operations including budgets, workback schedules, event logistics and metrics.
  • Create and manage dashboards to track revenue pipeline opportunities and other metrics related to hospitality programs
  • Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder teams to drive program support.


    Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, partner marketing or sports marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communication.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, sports marketing or product management field.
  • Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leaders and executive sponsors.
  • Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Proven track record of effectively developing and implementing marketing plans that drive customer demand using a variety of Amazon marketing tools.
  • Experience in sports or entertainment partnerships or hospitality.
  • Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
