The Director of Partner Relations is primarily responsible for managing operational partnerships at Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW). The ideal candidate will be an independent self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage partnerships with retail and office tenants, in addition to ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate the HOFV guest experience program with retail operations.
  • Manage relationships with a number of current and future operational service-related partners.
  • Oversee the communication, logistics, and planning for Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company Founders.
  • Work with professional athletes, coaches, sports entertainment organizations, celebrities, businesses, community and sports and entertainment contacts to provide support as needed for operational strategy.
  • Provide top-notch communication to existing relationships to solidify long-standing partnerships.
  • Work closely with other members of the Hall of Fame Resort and Entertainment Company to achieve operational goals of organization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Follow organizational processes and procedures to ensure compliance of working for a publicly traded company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required, preferably in sports marketing, communications, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operations or relationship management (preferably in the sports industry).
  • Must have existing relationships within the sports industry to assist in driving results of a sports-themed destination.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the ability to gain and enhance the respect and trust of partners.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding interpersonal relationships.
  • Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and our organization.
  • Must possess a strong ability time management and task prioritization.
  • Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
