As the selected candidate, you will assist with activation, retail and operations for FILA-sponsored Tennis and Pickleball tournaments and be on site for events in the US and Canada. You’ll manage the Preferred Player Program in the United States and oversee the Tennis Canada Official Team uniform program and assist with developing licensed product assortment for sponsored events.
Responsibilities
Assist with BNP Paribas Open, Miami Open, Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, Western & Southern Open, Pickleball USA National Championship (and other future sponsored events) retail activation logistics which includes buying, retail staffing, liaise with Customer Care, Purchasing, Logistics & Distribution Center to ensure delivery of all uniform, replica, retail products for retail stores.
Available to work on-site at BNP Paribas Open, select days at Miami Open, Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, Western & Southern Open, and TBD other sponsored events such as National Bank Open (Toronto & Montreal).
Create and maintain sales reporting analysis for all sponsored event retail operations and licensed product programs.
Manage and promote Preferred Player Program in USA.
Oversee Tennis Canada Purchase Program for Official Team uniforms for all High Performance teams.
Assist with product development of a licensed product collection for various sponsored tournaments and Tennis Canada to create a co-branded collection of apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Assist with key strategic partnerships in the Pickleball category such as the Pro Pickleball Association sponsorship.
Provide support with sponsored tennis pro-player and social influencer allocation.
Manage Wash U tennis team uniform program and summer tennis camp outfitting.
Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited university
1-3 yrs marketing, tennis and/or event experience
Retail buying background is preferred
Basic knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator
Must possess excellent problem solving skills and resource efficiency
Must possess strong communication skills (written & verbal), both formal and informal
Must be able to work within a team as well as independently
Strong project management background is preferred
Must have experience working with a cross-functional team
Have an understanding and appreciation of the sport of tennis and/or pickleball
Strong excel experience
