Reporting to the Sr Director, Sports Marketing, you will be responsible for all aspects of Red Bull's Action (skate, snow, surf) sports program. You will play an important role in the build-out of the national Action Sports strategy and business plan, supporting development and management of an athlete/team portfolio, designing new event programs, and driving the execution of program activities within our regions.
PROGRAM DEFINITION AND DEVELOPMENT
Champion a long-term and scalable strategy for Red Bull Action Sports programs that incorporates events, product activations, and team and athlete programs
Support long-term execution of strategic partnerships with 3rd-party events, leagues and teams to expand Brand relevance and support product sales
Partner with teams across the Red Bull brand, media and marketing divisions to integrate Action Sports program elements within their business plans and operations
ATHLETE AND TEAMS
Alongside of the Sr Director, Sports Marketing, you will partner with the Sr. Director of Athlete Marketing to implement a long-term team and athlete strategy focused on the identification, acquisition, sponsorship, management and development of elite talent
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Implement program roadmap, business plans and processes, project and resource plans, event and editorial calendars, status updates and budgets
Explain business plans and goals to executives, teams and partners
Minimum 4 years of Sports Marketing/ Management experience
Experience, passion, and knowledge of direct Action Sports (Surf/Snow/Skate)
Success with creating and implementing strategies to businesses
Experience with planning and project management
Experience interacting with senior leaders, and the ability to manage up/down within matrixed organization
Ability to cultivate a team-working environment and be a leader
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
English Fluent, additional languages a plus.
