Under the supervision of the brand’s Director of Global Sports Marketing and in collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will drive HOKA’s positioning and partnership across trail events globally. This will include leading/planning all event activations, organic digital content and related event branding.
Your Impact
You will lead the development and implantation of a short-term and long-term strategy that aligns with brand objectives (global brand awareness, authenticating product innovation, building inclusive trail running population) that build off of HOKA’s origins serving the trail community.
You will lead HOKA’s global trail partnerships across all regions (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, SEA, China, Japan) and implement a cohesive strategy.
You will ensure that the Brand is maximized through its partnerships, supporting a compelling narrative across core consumers, athletes and those just discovering the diverse world of trail running. All of this must be done while insuring that HOKA is presented in a manner that is true to it’s origin, Vision and Mission statements while serving these passionate participants.
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Manages HOKA’s global sports marketing partnership with all trail specific partners
Manages global trail partnership strategy, working with all HOKA cross functional teams (brand marketing, product marketing, sales, PR, social, etc.) to ensure consistency and achieve measurable results in all aspects of the program.
Facilitates contract negotiation with Deckers legal dept. and any HOKA trail partner global (contract), including management of all responsibilities outlined therein.
Provides daily management and oversight of all global trail partnerships, including: event branding, event activation, licensed product coordination, seeding, digital organic content (Humans of HOKA) for all series/major/final events
