The Manager of Media and Sponsorships will manage a wide range of media and sponsorship initiatives. This person will be a direct point of contact for the Restaurant Marketing team and liaise with our network of agency and sponsorship partners. This will include analyzing data, building spreadsheets, developing presentations, completing media and sponsorship evaluations, coordination of reporting information, budget and invoice reconciliation as well as being involved in the planning process from strategy development to performance evaluations with collaboration from both internal teams and agency partners.


Restaurant Support

  • Responsible for managing incremental media requests, including new restaurant openings, with agency partners and internal teams from initial request to invoice reconciliation for assigned markets
  • Able to derive key insights and takeaways from media landscape analysis, sales trends and analysis, media performance recaps and post buys to be applied to future strategy and plan recommendations
  • Manage media strategy development and plan recommendations for assigned markets
  • Review, identify and analyze opportunities to support focus markets and restaurants
  • Evolve media and sponsorship processes and tools to support our high growth
  • Support Restaurant Marketing team with sponsorship negotiations
  • Explore, analyze and provide recap with evaluation on viable media and sponsorship opportunities for our brand, including at the national, regional and local level
  • Develop presentations and support materials for meetings and training


    Performance Reporting and Budget Reconciliation

  • Manage monthly invoice and reconciliation process along with analysis of planned vs. purchased budgets for media buys and sponsorships in assigned markets
  • Work with agency partners to ensure timely execution of performance recaps and post buys
  • Work closely with finance team on evaluation and analysis of media buys and sponsorships


    Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
  • Four + years of advertising agency or client-side media planning and sponsorship negotiation and evaluation experience preferred
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Fundamental understanding of various media tools such as Nielsen research, ComScore, Simmons, Kantar
