As the Marketing Sponsorship Manager-Remote, you will report to the Vice-President of Marketing Sponsorships with a primary focus of maximizing contracted assets with: Joe Gibbs Racing, McLaren F1, Kalitta Motorsports, Barrett Jackson, Wayne Carini, Chip Foose, College Football, and TV partnership. You will be the main point of contact for these partnerships and be responsible for maintaining and growing the relationship, making sure teams are outfitted with SBD products and representing our brands in a positive light. Actively collaborating with the in-market Activation Manager, Brand Manager and B2B teams to bring our partnerships to life through customer events, promotions, social media, philanthropic partnerships, and other brand visibility opportunities. You’ll get to:

  • Role will require you to travel 40% of the time, this includes weekends and international travel.
  • Lead communications meetings with partners to ensure all assets are being activated.
  • Ensure contracted partners have SBD products in partner environments and no competitor products visible.
  • Collaborate with the brand and sales channel teams on promotions, sweepstakes, and special projects to help the businesses achieve their financial commitment.
  • Assist in brainstorming to maximize partnership assets. Always search for continuous improvement areas within partnerships.
  • Support members of the sponsorship team with event planning and hosting guests.
  • Work with Analytics Manager on setting key performance indicators for each partnership. Assist in tracking product placement, brand impressions, incremental sales, and philanthropic collaborations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Marketing or 5-10 years of experience in Sponsorship or Sports Marketing
  • Communications: Exceptional writing and editing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to internal and external audiences
  • Presentation: Strong PowerPoint capabilities with demonstrated experience in developing visually effective presentations for executive leaders.
  • Project Management: You excel at organization and a demanding workload, including balancing multiple assignments from conception to completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Diligence and Attention to Detail: Produce quality work in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of important details along the way.
  • Business Partner Orientation: Appreciate the importance of being a business-partner to our internal customers and have curiosity and ability to obtain business acumen.
  • Nimble and Self-Motivated: Comfortable working with little supervision and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, evolving, boundary-less organization.
