The Manager, Partnership Strategy will work within and across the NASCAR Centralized Sponsorship Sales organization as the lead collaborator to accelerate and optimize the go-to-market sales process. As a key member of the Partnership Strategy team, the Manager, Partnership Strategy will be tasked with ideating partner integrations, creating impactful proposals utilizing Photoshop/Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint, and constructing new sponsorship platforms in market.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Work in conjunction with NASCAR Centralized Partnership Sales Team on new business pitches, from the ideation phase via brainstorming and concepting the best approach, providing data-driven insights, tailoring impactful visualizations, and developing both templated and customized proposals and packages.
Assist NASCAR National Sales Team, including maintaining the NASCAR 101 master sponsorship deck and highlighting notable updates during the season, and developing sponsorship proposals
Lead the development of external sponsorship and sales templates for Regional Sales teams
Use Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint to design powerful imagery to support proposed sales, marketing, and activation plans
Works collaboratively with the NASCAR Centralized Partnership Sales Team to vet new opportunities for inclusion in proposals with internal constituents within the company
Provide pricing and packaging recommendations as well as revenue / valuation analysis for new packages and proposals in market as requested
Support the Partnership Strategy Team by identifying new, compelling ways to showcase sponsorship opportunities, spotlighting unique selling points, and sharing success stories, etc.
Opportunity for role to evolve to specialize on the National or Regional Sales Team vertical
Travel 10%, including weekends
Bachelor's degree from four (4) year college or university required plus a minimum three (3) years of sponsorship marketing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient on all company provided hardware and software
Microsoft Office experience required, specifically PowerPoint at a high level
High level experience with Adobe Photoshop also required – additional knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Spark)
Ability to function in a high-speed and quickly evolving environment
A working understanding and background in motorsports preferred, though not required
Proven track record of success driving strategy behind effective sponsorship and/or marketing campaigns -- from brand awareness to demand generation to conversion
Results driven, creative and strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Experience working with sports and entertainment properties is preferred
Experience with syndicated research tools and output (Nielsen, Scarborough) and/or PR tool (Meltwater) a plus
Experience and relationships with other sports leagues and/or sports marketing agencies is preferred
Aptitude for leading change in a complex environment and working within a highly matrixed organization
