Provide player servicing for the baseball sports marketing department toward the achievement of marketing and business objectives. Assist the baseball sports marketing team in developing and maintaining properties which establish category authenticity and embody the New Balance brand.

Team Management / Enablement

special event ordering (Spring Training/All Star Game/Post-Season/Brand Collab packages)
servicing of our Charitable program for MLB athletes
servicing of Fastpitch athletes under contract
work in conjunction with partnership team to coordinate player asset activation for Boston Red Sox under the guidance of the Sports Marketing Manager.
Strategic Planning
Assist in the development and execution of an annual baseball sports marketing plan that defines strategy for the key categories for Baseball and Team footwear and apparel orders, and other categories that strategically align with our brand and business objectives. Always look for new player opportunities when available.
Asset Management, Networking / Influencing
Assist in managing the athlete product portfolio in accordance with our FOP priorities.
Continually develop strong relationships that drive marketing strategies and objectives with athletes, teams, and agents.
Assist the Head of Baseball Sports Marketing with reviewing budget needs ensuring accurate monthly allocations and accountability.
Work closely with sports marketing counterparts in Basketball, Soccer, Running/Track and Field and Fastpitch on the activation of relevant sports marketing topics and leverage global sports marketing assets within the global marketplace.
Brand Marketing
Work closely with other functions and business units on the execution of the sports marketing plan.
Take responsibility for the successful integration of our athletes and teams within footwear, apparel and equipment strategies.
Ensure all efforts are linked to Field of Play priorities and category/country/regional plans.
Bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing or related discipline preferred.
-5 years of experience in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Operations or similar function
Proven ability to lead and influence others to accomplish strategic objectives. Success driving change and achieving business results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.
Proven ability to digest complex information and communicate in a compelling/simplistic manner to cross-functional teams.
Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision making.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
