The Pepsi Beverages Company Sports Marketing team is looking for a passionate, creative, high-energy and results-driven Associate Analyst to support Pepsi’s Action Sports and Gaming/Esports marketing platforms. This unique position will provide significant exposure across Pepsi Marketing and develop executional, partnership and strategic planning skills.
This role will split time between two major sport/entertainment verticals within the company – Action Sports and Gaming (~70%/30% respectively). The key focus for this role will be managing the day-to-day Action Sports partnerships (including Dew Tour) and athlete relationships while supporting the growing Gaming/Esports business across multiple brands. Our ideal candidate is someone who has a strong entrepreneur spirit and is or is looking to become a subject matter expert in these 2 verticals.
The accountabilities of this role are focused on supporting and managing the various aspects of Pepsi’s action sports and gaming partnerships and assets including our league, team, athlete, influencer, and gaming publisher relationships. This Associate Analyst position will assist the Senior Manager of Sports Marketing in planning and executing the annual marketing plans.
This role will require travel to industry and partner meetings and events. Many of these travel occasions occur on nights and weekends when events naturally occur.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. Brand, Media, Digital, Packaging, Legal, Trademark, Consumer Relations) to plan, facilitate and execute MTN DEW’s Key Action Sports programming including Dew Tour, Athlete partnerships, retail programs, point of sale, customer and digital creative
Support relationships with key gaming/esports league, team and athlete and influencer partners, managing and maximizing assets that come along with each
Track with agency partners the execution of contractual assets within our partnerships
Evangelize sports within Pepsi marketing
Deliver Esports and Gaming 101s and educate the broader marketing organization on gamer content consumption habits
Facilitate partner and agency status meetings
Continual immersion in and monitoring of the sports industry to identify new opportunities to engage fans and partners

Bachelor’s Degree Required; MBA preferred
4 yrs relevant marketing experience; CPG experience preferred
