Come join us as a Director on the Intuit Global Brand Marketing team. Intuit is currently seeking a Director with sponsorship leadership experience with an emphasis on strategic partnership establishment, executive engagement and overall activation.
This role is accountable for growing Intuit as a platform brand across segments and “cornerstone brands” via year-round sponsorship engagement to reach and engage current and prospective customers across multiple channels and activation touchpoints, delivering incremental revenue and brand reputation with a positive ROI. This individual and his/her team will establish the overall One Intuit Sponsorship strategy, establishing new partnerships that meet these principles and ensuring that activation of current sponsorships deliver on Intuit’s overall “True North” and “Bold Goals”.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and inspiring individual who has the creative aptitude, exceptional organizational skills and professional etiquette and overall EQ required to meticulously plan and execute Intuit and its cornerstone brands and their high-profile presence - including within what promises to be one of the world’s most iconic sports and entertainment arenas, the Intuit Dome.
The role can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View, San Diego or Los Angeles, CA.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
One-Intuit Mindset: Develop and apply One Intuit strategic principles to potential sponsorship partners and establish new partnerships aligned to these principles, ultimately delivering on the company’s “Big Bets” ““Bold Goals” and “True North Goals
Drive partnership engagements, engaging with key internal leaders and executives of teams and leagues working to maximize current sponsorship opportunities and evaluate potential opportunities across the Intuit platform
Lead team(s) in a fast-paced environment, identifying and driving effective activation solutions - working with segment team leads to ensure partnerships are leveraged across the Intuit platform for synergy and lift to the Intuit ecosystem in total
Build a high performance Culture: Attract, energize and retain the best, diverse talent. Champion a culture of inclusion and innovation. Develop people to accelerate performance. Provide onsite leadership and team management at corporate hospitality events
Demonstrate strategy, execution, coaching and empowerment across the organization or growing teams.
Data Informed decisions: Influence through customer data narratives and making the business case to stakeholders across organization.
Create new compliance model for all offerings available to employees, and manage end-to-end process including organization and distribution of tickets and development of event itineraries, staff plans and event recaps
Ensure Intuit community goals are met through development and execution of shared, social responsibility programs including Prosperity Hub and climate change efforts
Impactful Business Communication: Foster a culture of storytelling that helps them articulate, visualise, and deliver ideas of information to improve velocity and impact of work. Manage and communicate project status with Intuit executive teams, internal brand and segment teams and agency partners
Conduct business case analyses to understand impact of established partnerships
Oversee end to end strategy including go-to-market implementation for Intuit Dome
Manage sponsorship agency partnerships
Create and deliver measurement and budget management
A Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred, and 10+ years of relevant experience within brand/sponsorship marketing
Previous position(s) with Brand and/or agency sponsorship marketing responsibilities
Proficient in budget management and planning
Created and managed end to end program components and worked with clients and/or other agency partners to building presentations and delivering them
deliver brand activations/events
Boundaryless Leadership: Operates and makes an impact across organizational boundaries.
Proficiency in Google docs and Adobe creative programs
Experience, creativity and interest in trends in social media, digital content and sports/entertainment/sponsorship marketing
Ability to travel frequently, both weekdays and weekends
Experience with virtual event platforms and virtual event executions (not required but a plus)
