The focus of this role is to drive brand engagement among western lifestyle enthusiasts. Planning, coordinating, hosting, and ensuring success of VIP branded events focused on Rodeo and Western lifestyle enthusiasts; engineering those events to optimize sales through networking, generating qualified leads for sales and making the first introduction on behalf of the brand; converting our sponsorship into a B2B revenue generating program.


Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities


Event & Partner Portfolio Management

  • Coordinates heavily with internal teams and external partners to develop the annual plan for Rodeo Activations.
  • The role will oversee all rodeo, western and more events throughout the country.
  • Will lead recruiting, training, and managing event staff and event coordinators.
  • Establishes KPIs and measure effectiveness of partnerships, sponsorships, events and more.
  • Network frequently amongst other brands supporting western sports in order to develop synergies and help identify future opportunities.


    Administration

  • The position is responsible for several events each week and is responsible for each group being properly prepared for their travel, assisting with issues during events, troubleshooting, and making sure each event is a success.
  • Manage all budgets and expenses to ensure programs are executed within budget guidelines.


    People Leadership

  • Oversee event staff and responsibilities, including scheduling.
  • Ensure that TEAM’s objectives clearly align with brand objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with Senior Manager Partnerships and Event Marketing.


    Influencer Management and Strategy

  • Will lead identifying paid brand influencers(athletes) to help evangelize the brand to audiences.
  • Manages paid team of influencers to ensure timely social posts, content development, proper behavior, support of brand, branded attire is worn and more.
  • Develop strategy to captilalize on brand strategy leveraging influencers.


    Media and Promotions

  • Develop a monthly promotional schedule.
  • Recap all promotions and communicate to local contacts on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Communicate monthly/weekly promotional calendar to appropriate client and distributor personnel.
  • Interact frequently with media properties and makes recommendation for media supporting the partnership and event space.


    Required Skills

  • Must have a passion for coffee.
  • Must have prior working or personal experience with Rodeo and the Western lifestyle.
  • Proven experience planning and hosting VIP branded events.
  • 3+ Years of Event Marketing, Experiential Marketing or Sponsorship experience or Extensive experience working within Rodeo industry.
  • Excellent management and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must effectively interact with the general public at event venues in a professional manner and socialize comfortably with high net-worth individuals and c-suite executives.
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to foster consultative relationships to achieve results.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and traditional office skills are also required.
  • Requires a flexible schedule with 35% travel, including on weekends.
  • Must strong interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a schedule.
  • May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.


    Preferred

  • College Education preferred in marketing, business, journalism or similar experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in rodeo event marketing and activations.
  • Prior integrated marketing and media experience is preferred.
  • Sales experience or the ability to sell is also strongly encouraged. Prior Rodeo athletes welcome!
  • Prior food or beverage experience is ideal but not required.
  • Ideal candidate will office in Dallas, TX.
