The opportunity is to join the Acronis global sports marketing team that is responsible for 30+ sports partnerships worldwide – with this role having a specific focus on the NAM and EMEA #TeamUp sports program. The specific nature of the role means that in addition to the traditional Sports Partnership Manager role, the successful candidate will work alongside managed service providers (MSP) to supervise and help them activate their sports marketing rights in almost an agency style approach.
To be able to do this we require an experienced Sports Marketer who understands the sports partnerships role from all 3 of these perspective’s (rights holder, brand and agency) and is able to draw on that expertise depending on the situation. Experience in the IT / Tech landscape would also be beneficial.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
MSP focused marketing, region-specific #TeamUp Partnerships
Review #TeamUp deals alongside MSP’s from marketing perspective
Develop working relationships with #TeamUp MSPs and Sports Teams under persons control
Develop a global sports marketing plan within global sports marketing team
Work with MSPs to develop a marketing plan in line with Acronis sports marketing plan
Work closely with regional marketing managers in EMEA who work alongside the same MSP’s – aligning goals
Advise and help MSP’s negotiate and plan the use of rights to deliver on set marketing objectives
Ongoing calls with Sports Teams and #TeamUP MSPs
Content Approvals with sports team
Advise and train #TeamUP MSP on how to use sports marketing rights
Attend meetings with sports teams and help activate on site for Acronis owned activities and MSP activities
Be embedded in the EMEA/NAM regions and be the joint face of the sports marketing team in the region – joining, contributing and reporting on all regional meetings that concern sports
Be completely involved in the regions – work day to day with all RMM’s and head of region to ensure all #TeamUp MSPs are working towards what we are helping them achieve
Help to manage and use team budget
We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work early hours for the East Coast, ideally starting at 8:00am regularly or even earlier if that's convenient
3+ years of experience in sports marketing – brand / agency / rights holder (more than 1 preferable)
Experience and understanding of sports marketing IP and how it can be used by sports partners
Experience and understanding of modern cybersecurity landscape and service provider business
Ability to work as part of a global team
Experience of working on / running events
Process driven
Proven track record working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience working with PR / media
Experience working with or in IT / Tech preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to solve problems both logically and creatively

Fluent English (other languages is a plus)
