The Trade Marketing Coordinator plays an incremental role to the Sales and Marketing division of the branch. In this position you will schedule event promotions and Brand Ambassador sampling activations, work with the Trade Marketing Manager to plan marketing initiatives surrounding product launches and seasonal holidays/major sports events, and maintain all trade marketing materials and merchandise for the sales department.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage assigned brands to include sales performance, distribution and retail execution
  • Develop and implement plans to grow key areas of these brands
  • Schedule and manage brand ambassadors for on-premise promotions and activations
  • Prepare and present marketing support tools available to the sales force
  • Coordinate and implement the local execution of national and geographic marketing plans
  • Coordinate and implement various programs including, but not limited to, Brand Plans, Geographic Marketing, CA&E, local sponsorships, neighborhood marketing and internet activities as assigned by the Trade Marketing Manager
  • Develop positive relationships with local promoters, media representatives, and field sales managers in order to stay informed of local trends, company direction and community needs, as well as to negotiate favorable terms for sponsored activities
  • Evaluate and respond to local requests for sponsorships and donations
  • Help develop budgets and track and manage expenses for assigned projects and programs
  • Maintenance of seasonal calendars and sell sheets/marketing materials
  • Manage POS/PPG Warehouse Inventory
  • Assist with special projects assigned by the Trade Marketing Manager and Sales Directors


    Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous sales experience is required
  • Market plan development and execution is required
  • Must have excellent customer follow up skills and relationship building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong skills in event coordination, organization, negotiation, eye for detail, and calendar planning are essential
  • Must be willing to work occasional weekends and evenings


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree
  • Willingness to relocate within the US for future opportunities
  • Beer/alcohol industry knowledge
