The primary focus is to plan, manage, recommend, collaborate, and coordinate between stakeholders to deliver experiential events, including sporting events, mobile activations, customer events and even deploying a fleet of mobile units support community outreach in times of disaster relief efforts. Success requires exceptional program management for face-to-face events, and increasingly leveraging various digital and virtual event technologies. In doing so, this role brings Community Coffee’s brand and messaging to life through engaging and memorable events that drive demand and our sales pipeline. Through these events, this position also fosters new business growth by nurturing a network of external partnerships and leveraging connections via company sponsorships. To achieve success, this role interfaces across sales and marketing teams to ensure all our events reflect our company’s strategy and vision. Leads a team of direct and indirect reports to activate across multiple sporting events, VIP events, customer activations and more.


Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities


Management

  • Leads partnership strategy across rodeo, college sports, NFL, local activations and more to drive brand engagement while generating new revenue growth by cultivating leads for Community Coffee.
  • Develops annual plans and coordinates heavily with internal teams and external partners to grow brand presence.
  • Extensive knowledge in managing events from conception to completion, including digital event platforms, complex logistics, venue liaison, production, speaker sourcing, budget management and onsite execution.
  • Effective budget management and budget reconciliation for large scale budget.
  • Manages a fleet of mobile branded vehicles to deliver branded coffee experience by sampling and selling Community Coffee products via mobile units.


    Event & Partner Portfolio Management

  • Communicate all event standards to ensure successful execution.
  • Analyzes data and provides insights as a result for future executions to ensure we are optimizing our event marketing investments and aligning our event strategy to our campaigns and business objectives.
  • Exceptional project management, and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable with the ability to handle high pressure last-minute, urgent requests.
  • Must be a master of time management and be highly disciplined to focus team on the largest opportunities.
  • Evaluate event performance, including post event analysis, de-briefs and wrap-up reports.


    People Leadership

  • Collaborate, consult and influence leaders and stakeholders within the function, across functions and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to assertively project manage teams and hold team members accountable for deliverables.
  • Provide strong leadership skills to develop personnel; enhancing their ability to optimize sales through networking, generating qualified leads for sales and making the first introduction on behalf of the brand.
  • Motivate ambassadors to display great attitudes and leave a positive brand impression on the consumer.


    Influencer Management and Strategy

  • Will lead strategy to identify paid brand influencers (athletes, celebrities, etc.) to help evangelize the brand to audiences.
  • Manages paid team of influencers to ensure timely social posts, content development, proper behavior, support of brand, branded attire is worn and more.
  • Develop strategy to captilalize on brand strategy leveraging influencers.


    Media and Promotions

  • Closely monitor and track all promotions and special events.
  • Define and execute internal and external event awareness and communication plans and associated deliverables. Including but not limited to email invitations, web pages, direct mail, social media, PR, and webinars.
  • Ensure effective promotional management activities occur for every Assistant Manager’s events.
  • Actively collaborates with Senior Paid Media Manger, Social Media Manager and Corporate Communications to develop fully integrated programs.


    Required Skills

  • Must have a passion for coffee.
  • 5+ Years of Event Marketing, Experiential Marketing or Sponsorship experience is required.
  • Evidence of building strategies for, planning and successfully hosting VIP branded events.
  • This role requires strong interpersonal skills to begin conversations with new contacts and is highly motivated to develop a large network of contacts
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of various digital and virtual event technologies and applicability to different programs.
  • Skilled negotiator and ability to foster consultative relationships to achieve results.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including strong verbal and Powerpoint skills, ability to present at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve and come up with solutions and recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent customer service and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must effectively interact with the general public at event venues in a professional manner and socialize comfortably with high net-worth individuals and c-suite executives.
  • May be asked to perform additional duties as necessary.
  • 25% Travel is required.
  • Must be able to market to outdoor enthusiasts, rodeo/western lifestyle and college sports enthusiast.


    Preferred

  • College Education preferred in marketing, business, journalism or similar experience.
  • Prior sports marketing experience is strongly desired.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • Prior Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required.
